The Company

On this trip I will be touring with my long time friend Craig. Craig is an experienced cyclist who has done numerous self-supported bicycling tours. He and my older brother Bob rode cross- country back in their college years back ('back in the day'). Craig and I rode on a bicycle tour two years ago from Oregon down to Sierra City, CA...up and over Mt Lassen.

Craig has also taken an Adventure Cycling Leadership Training Course and led a tour across the United States (West to East). Craig has a wealth of knowledge about bicycle touring techniques, budgeting, and safety on the road; not to mention great stories.

He is also a good bike mechanic; something that I am definitely not.
He is 'plenty strong' so he'll pull me along when I start faltering.
