The Hick's Ride

I start the ride in downtown Los Gatos, CA. Heading southward on Los Gatos Blvd I turn right on Shannon Road to Hicks Road. Turning right I do some light climbing for about 5 miles past Guadalupe Reservoir. Then Hicks pitches up for one mile at 13% average grade with 18% maximum. After a quick decent (not too quick please!) I turned left on Almaden Road passing Almaden Reservoir to McKean Road. I then follow McKean Road southward past Calero Reservior until it becomes Uvas Road. Turning left on Oak Glen Avenue and then a left on Willow Springs Road. I turn left on Santa Teresa Blvd. I then turn left on Colman Avenue until it dead-ends into Camden Ave. A quick right and then a quick left onto Hicks Road. Hicks Road to Shannon Road and back to Los Gatos.
